Poem: Today as Usual

Passive.

Somebody annoyed me today
but

It's okay.
I guess I'm happy.

Some lesson was hard today
but

It's okay.
I guess I'm happy.

I've got a couple of bruises
I ache inside and out.
It's been a down day
And there's still a long day
ahead.

I'm a little lonely
Inside

But still...
I guess
I'm happy.

Back home

My bible seemed to wait for me
And then I let God take the lead

And now

I know I'm happy.
